Yes. Members may sign in guests, who will pay standard bar prices rather than members' prices. Members are responsible for the behaviour of any guests they introduce to the club.
Memberships run on an annual basis. You'll be reminded when your renewal is due. Renewal is £10 per year for adult members.
Absolutely. Children are welcome at the club during appropriate hours, and we're home to thriving youth sections in both our cricket and football clubs. Under-18 membership is free for juniors playing in our sports clubs.
Not at all. The Sports & Social Club is for everyone. Many of our members have no involvement in either sports club and simply enjoy the bar, the events, and the community.
Yes — just pop in during opening hours and ask at the bar. We're happy to show you around and answer any questions before you decide to join.

How It Works

Simple, Fair & Fun

The LHSSC 100 Club is a monthly prize draw open to all adult members of the club. Members purchase one or more numbers for £4 each per month, and every month we draw the winning numbers.

Half of all entry fees go straight into the prize pot — the other half is reinvested into club improvements. Whether you win or not, your entry is doing something good for the club you love.

🏆 Where does the money go?

50% goes directly to the prize pool — winners receive cash prizes each month. The remaining 50% is reinvested into the club: facilities, improvements, and events. Contact the club for the current prize structure.

Everything You Need to Know

The 100 Club is open to all adult members of Locks Heath Sports & Social Club. You must be a current paid-up member to participate.
Members can hold multiple numbers, giving them a better chance of winning each month. Each additional number costs an additional £4/month by standing order.
The draw takes place monthly at the club. Results are posted on the club's Facebook page and the noticeboard. Winners are contacted directly and prizes paid promptly.
Entry is by monthly standing order. Full details will be provided when you sign up. Your entry must be kept up to date to remain eligible — lapsed entries are not included in the draw.
Yes. You can withdraw at any time by cancelling your standing order and notifying the club secretary. Numbers are reassigned when they become available.

Developing the Next Generation

Our youth programme is one of the fastest-growing in the area. We offer coaching for boys and girls from age 5 upwards, through Ball-to-All sessions and structured age-group coaching throughout the season.

Qualified coaches run sessions designed to be fun, inclusive, and progressive — whether your child has never held a bat or is looking to play competitive cricket.

Club Teams

Alongside the football and cricket, the club runs its own crib and pool teams in the local leagues. Both are open to members of any standard — new players are always welcome.

Crib Team

Our crib team plays in the Fareham & District Crib League, with league matches, the KO Cup and the singles and pairs competitions running from September to April. Home matches are played at the club.

About Locks Heath Sports & Social Club

A community club with deep roots in Locks Heath — here for sport, socialising, and bringing people together.

Our History

Part of the Community for Decades

Locks Heath Sports & Social Club has been a fixture of the local community for many years. Founded to provide a social and sporting hub for residents of Locks Heath and the surrounding area, the club has grown to become one of the most active members' clubs in Fareham.

Based at the Locks Heath Recreation Ground on Warsash Road, the club has been continually developed and improved by successive generations of committee members and volunteers — all giving their time freely to keep the club running for the people who use it.

Our facilities have been significantly upgraded in recent years, with ongoing investment in the clubhouse, the bar, and the outdoor spaces — and there's more to come.

We're proud of the community we've built and the direction the club is heading. Recent investment in the clubhouse has improved the bar, the function room, and the facilities — and we continue to look for ways to make the club better for everyone who walks through the door.

The committee meets regularly and welcomes input from members. If you'd like to get more involved in running the club, speak to any committee member or raise it at the Annual General Meeting.
